Amiens’ Flea-market (the Réderie) is a historical bi-annual event taking place in Amiens (France). It’s a huge flea-market where both professionals and amateurs can gather, and it lasts a whole Saturday.

For this particular event, we wanted everything to start with the objects on the many stands, and their multiple colors. With those, we created several kaleidoscopes. At the same time, we wanted to preserve the historical strengh of this event going on for more than a century.

We thus imagined a lettering mixing old and new from the Cako font (VJ Type) and used the historical symbol of Amiens for one of our main ingredients: the coat-of-arms.

All those elements were then incorporated to various formats to build what we want to be a colorful dreamlike easily reneawable identity.
